Our story
We learned by helping sellers get online.
Shopstar has been a starting point for many of the country's successful online stores. That history matters because it taught us what sellers actually need, and what usually gets in their way.
For years, most of our work centered on physical products. Then the market started to shift. More entrepreneurs were selling services, downloads, appointments, memberships, tickets and mixed products that did not fit neatly into one old ecommerce box.
Customers were changing too. Mobile has become the preferred shopping channel, not a smaller version of desktop.
At the same time, the same blockers kept showing up: early subscription fees, the rising complexity of setting up an online store, and sellers stitching together too many tools just to make a sale.
Shopstar Go is our answer to that. A simple page, free to start, built for African entrepreneurs who want to sell without needing technical expertise or a large budget.
