A compatible browser assistant can use WebMCP tools on the shopper’s live Shopstar page. This works automatically, using the cart and checkout the shopper sees.

The assistant can search visible products and published policies, check options and availability, and update the shopper’s cart.
Prepare checkout.
It can help with contact details, delivery or collection choices, discounts, and the payment method on the same checkout page.
The buyer finishes the purchase.
After the buyer confirms the order, the buyer completes card payment on the secure payment page, including any bank authentication. The assistant never needs card details.
Developers can go deeper.
Under the hood, Shopstar supports UCP: a shared way for approved agents to understand your shop and take allowed actions. Sellers do not need to set it up. Developers can use the API and protocol layer to build deeper workflows.
